For a student to be eligible for honor society, they must meet the following entry requirements: scholastic achievement of 3.0 GPA, 90% attendance record, no barriers to graduation, and no major discipline referrals. Considerations for membership to the TCTC Chapter include leadership, character, and service to the community. Explore the resources below for more information. Completing an Application

The application process includes completing online forms, teacher evaluations, and an interview process. When completing an application for NTHS, list your involvement in activities related to the TCTC including Youth Leadership Council, Youth Club Offices, SADD, Yearbook, and competitive events. In addition, you should list community involvement since the 9th grade. This may include French Club, Key Club, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4-H Clubs, Bible School Teacher, Junior Achievement, etc.

Teacher evaluations must be completed by your program teacher and each of your academic instructors. Evaluations will be done via Google Forms. Membership in the National Technical Honor Society is determined by a faculty committee. You will be asked about your community service, leadership, difficulty of course work, and your communication skills will also be considered. Rubric considerations include: GPA, attendance, service involvement & leadership, interview skills, professionalism during the interview, and teacher evaluations.
