TCTC students advanced to the 2022 National Leadership Competition hosted by the Business Professionals of America (BPA) where three teams earned either first or second place at the national competition. In total, 20 students from TCTC placed in the top 10.
BPA is a career and technical student organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, and other related career fields. Students are presented with opportunities to learn and achieve through skills competitions at the local, state, and national levels.
More than 20 students from TCTC’s Interactive Multimedia, Networking & Cybersecurity, and Web Design & Application Development programs advanced to nationals.
The national competition took place in Dallas, TX at the Hilton Anatole from May 4 - 8, 2022. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday, May 7 where students from TCTC earned the following:

“Business Professionals of America is a highly competitive organization. We had 20 students who placed in the top 10 at nationals. This is an amazing accomplishment, and I am proud of them,” said TCTC program supervisor Rachel Gensburg. “Our students begin to prepare for BPA competitions in September. These students were a very talented and hardworking group. Finishing in the top two in three events is a testament to that hard work.”
