Have you been thinking about applying for RAD Grad? If so, please keep in mind that the application deadline is quickly approaching! (April 23, 2021) If you have not done so already, enroll in the Google Classroom course (code x7mfrj7) to learn more. You can check out an informational slideshow, FAQs and view the verification forms to see what is required. On the next Future Friday (March 26, 2021), a Google Meet session will be held for students who still have questions or who want to learn more.

Juniors — Applications for National Technical Honor Society are due Friday, Mary 19. The entry requirements are: minimum 3.0 GPA, 90% attendance, no barriers to graduation, and no major discipline referrals. Check your email for additional information and application details.
Employees will receive their second COVID-19 vaccination on Friday, March 19. All staff and students will work from home on vaccination day. Due to various appointment times, we cannot schedule Google Meets. Therefore, students are not required to log in for Google Meet sessions. Students, please complete the assignments provided by your instructor independently. All staff will be available during standard school hours when they are not in transportation or at their vaccination appointment.
Howland Seniors — Howland is offering scholarships for seniors who plan to attend a trade/technical school or pursue an apprenticeship. Please see Ms. Len in the guidance office if you are interested.
On Friday, March 12, dental assisting students will be assisting volunteer dentists and hygienists during Dental Health Day. A small group of students will have the opportunity to have a dental exam, cleaning, and X-Rays at TCTC during the day. Please have your student check their email to find required forms. Completed forms should be returned to Marsha Nichols. This is an awesome service the dental assisting program is able to offer a limited number of our students.
We are pleased to announce that the 2021 Senior Completion Ceremony will be held at Eastwood Field with a fireworks display after the ceremony. More information to follow.
In March, we will begin to take senior pictures at the TCTC. We are preparing a video presentation for our Senior Completion Ceremony using these photos. Students are not permitted to submit a photo taken outside of school. Please mark your calendar to be prepared for pictures on your scheduled date. As a reminder, school-appropriate clothing, other than program shirts, will be permitted on your scheduled picture day.
